A National level competition held at Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai SAE Electric Two Wheeler Design Competition is a national level event conducted by Society of Automobile Engineering Indian Southern Section. For this event we need to present our design of our electric vehicle and our vehicle had to undergo different tests. The event took place in the July -2023, in Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai, Tamil nadu.40 teams have participated for this event. Team ORKA comprising of students from Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Tele Communication Engineering & Electrical Engineering, designed and fabricated Single Seater Electric Bike. About ETWDC (Electric Two-Wheeler Design Competition) Engineering students entering the Automotive Industry will need to be equipped with practical knowledge and design experience. ETWDC Prepares the students to be effective professional the students to think, analyze, design, develop, build, test and present in series of event. First of its Kind in India, the Competition ensures that Students gets a realistic engineers. Provides a Platform for enhancing Skill Set, competency, Technical Know How in electrification of Two Wheeler. Electric Two-Wheeler Design Competition tasks 360-degree workplace experience. Team ORKA comprising of students from Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering & Electrical Engineering, designed and fabricated Single Seater Electric Bike and participated in SAE – ETWDC 2022 held at SRM Institute of technology, Kattankulathur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. from 17th & 18th October 2022 where students from all over India participated in the E-Bike challenge.
