PARTITION HORRORS REMEMBRANCE DAY (विभाजन एक विभीषीका दिन) - 14th August

The Honorable Prime Minister announced August 14th to be “Partition Horrors Remembrance Day” in his speech on August 15, 2021, at Red Fort. Since 2022, the Ministry of Education has arranged a number of events on or on August 14. Similar to previous years, a number of events are scheduled to commemorate Partition Horrors Remembrance Day this year.
The aim of the Partition Horrors Remembrance Day is to raise awareness of the misery, anguish, and grief endured by millions of individuals who were affected by the division. It serves as a reminder to the nation of the greatest population displacement in the past century, which unfortunately resulted in the deaths of many people. The National School of Drama (NSD) has organized a performance to highlight the sorrow endured by those impacted by the partition.
The play’s script is intended to inform and enlighten students about the Partition events, the impact that they took on millions of lives, and the significance of commemorating this period of our history.
