2.7.1 STUDENT SATISFACTION SURVEY

For the A.Y.2018-19, Students Satisfaction Survey (SSS) was conducted among the students of the college through the college website. The questionnaire has been framed based on NAAC guidelines. Students have rated the question on a scale of 0 to 4. The result of this survey is based on the response of 155 students. The summary is displayed on the college website and it is also presented to the IQAC.

Give three observations/suggestions to improve the overall teaching-learning experience in your institution. (Some Notable Suggestions):

  • Encouragement towards self-learning is helpful.
  • Use better graphics and visual media to engage students well.
  • More focus should be on practical.
  • At least one programming language should be mandatory so that student will be good at least one language.
  • Need more sessions on personality development.
  • No suggestions, good teaching, support.
  • Friendly behavior of the staff
  • All teachers are the best.
  • Every staff is good at the teaching process. The overall teaching-learning process is quite nice in GESCOE.
  • Practical should be conducted in 5-5 student batch
  • While solving numerical in class please give us sufficient time to solve in some lectures it is not provided.
  • Suggest some YouTube videos related to the syllabus.
  • Remove those write-ups even though it’s a rule by the university and assign students end to end Project (till deployment) without
    teaching students anything about technology.
  • Force students to do at least 2 MOOCs of their area of interest by
    the end of 3rd year.
